Down the gurgler - #1293

A navigationally-challenged electioneering balloon in the Altstadt last week, drifting around to the whims of the breeze.

Just like a real politician.

(Gucki is now thinking: "You don't need to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows"....)

Gucki is contemplating about

- wind directions:
http://www.greenpeace.de/themen/atomkraft/atomunfaelle/ausbreitung/

- distances:
Mainz - Biblis: 35 km

- local emergency management in case of a nuclear accident in Biblis:
According to Mainzer "Allgemeine Zeitung" (Mar 29) the complete supply of iodine/potassium iodide
(blocking the intake of radioactive iodine-fallout) is based at "Kreisverwaltung Alzey".
Storage consists of 115000 packages - population size of Mainz: 200 000 individuals

- distance Alzey - Mainz: 31 km
