All a bit...-#1188

pointsettialess if you ask me.

Spend all that time raising these things in hothouses, giving them a carbon footprint the size of Alaska, and then - schwoooop - they're in the rubbish collection as soon as you can say €7.99.

AND they're not properly red.

Oh.

I'm told they're meant to be like that.....

The curmudgeon rides again! Get a grip and get the holiday spirit. Would prefer you to stay humble, but your photos are getting pretty classy these days. This one with all of its varied colours is terrific.

Kate's right, you'd give Ebeneezer a run for his money JB. And i personally like the speckledy ones. :)

They had to work hard to make them not red.

I love poinsettias but the red one which we received in our office from the building owners only lasts 5 days.....what's the point?!

Kate and Virginia are right on target, but I can see right through that grumpy attitude.

Many of the ones in the US are raised here in Mobile so they are quite inexpensive and during the holidays, people plant them like bedding plants.
