I've been a long-time admirer of this blog - your photos are always amazing and descriptive in their own right. I'd say "keep up the good work" but I have no doubt you will.
I'll go for Kate Bush ... never understood the female craze for red shoes - must be an age thing perhaps? I keep noticing women of a "certain age" wearing red shoes, I'll be interested to hear your theory on that. ;-)
You might add "Die roten Stiefel" from the "Tanz der Vampire" musical (about 1997?).
