The Last Harvest - #502

There's been farmland at the top of our village since we moved here 30 years ago.

Crop rotation means that you get annual variations on the sugar beet/grain theme

Not anymore, though.

The council bought the land for a new subdivision.

They'll start growing houses next year, I guess.

You don't sound very happy about that, but that's progress I guess. People have to live somewhere. Nice rural scene.
