Looks pretty good,,,a nice change of pace.
Yes, a change of pace is good. Like the look of the roll.
So glad the coffee is from PNG.
My only suggestion would be a big dob of vegemite on that "sausage" would make it perfect!!!
I was going to ask where's the mustard, but then I clicked on the photo & saw it plain as day. Does the mainzer sausage have a special name?
I'm always surprised when I visit friends in Germany - at breakfast time. Sausages, and cheese and slices of cucumber. All good things but strange for me at breakfast.

Fleischwurst - pronounced "Fleischworscht".
The best is from Harth's butchery in Stadecken-Elsheim. Luckily, they drive their mobile butchery to the market 3 times a week.
wow, that's a huge sausage.
i sometimes go to the canteen at work just to buy one of them and snack :-)
yummm
That is different, but it looks good.

Huge sausage! I bet it tastes really good! Looks yummy! :)
Oh. Nope. Sorry don't fancy this at all. Had a lunch like this in France when i was 13 and hated it! Oh dear. Great photo though!
Je prefere quand meme le matin les fruits frais ;o)
I prefer the morning the fresh fruits nevertheless ;o)
That looks like pretty hearty fare! Glad it's only on Saturday or you might gain a mite.
Yummy! Sausage and bread was my favorite breakfast when I lived in Germany (except for Nutella on toast). That's making me hungry!
Well, it does look filling!
today I eat a lot:) maybe because of these tasty DP photos:)
Yes, this looks pretty good for breakfast.
Ah, yes, I remember frushtuck. I'd rather have Muesli, though.:)
I was thinking that I don't like to eat meat in the morning so much, but we Americans eat bacon and sausage at breakfast, so this is not so far from our breakfast.
Mustard!

John, now that's REALLY German! Great post for today's theme!

That's EXACTLY what I thought a German breakfast would look like!
I am sure you have to put the sausage inside the bread, right?
Whoa, that's a large chunk of sausage! The bread looks woefully small next to it :-). I'd join you for the espresso..
